Spread the aggregate with water runoff away from buildings, ideally with a slope of 1 or 2 degrees.
Consider trimming perimeters of flower beds and walkways in decorative stone or rock, or with simple garden edging as shown here. Remember to build in about a 3/4" to 1" relief (or lip) against which you will abut your new grass.
